IF YOUR CLIENT HAS A VOUCHER, use the following websites for listings of apartments accepting Section 8 Vouchers:

2. Chicago's Craigslist
• Click on "apts/housing" under "Housing"
• Search any of the following: "Section 8" / "Sec 8" / "Voucher"
• Some apartment posting will state "Section 8 Welcome"
3. Chicago Reader

• Click on "Housing" on the upper left side
• Search Keyword: "Section 8" or "Sec 8" or "Voucher"
• If your client does not have a voucher, there is no way to get on the waitlist. It is currently closed

LIFT is happy to announce that we have listings of 20 openings for families with Housing Choice Vouchers and moving papers. One of our Local Advisory Board members has been remodeling homes in Chicago and is listing these apartments through us.

These 4-5 bedroom 2 flats are newly remodeled, with washer/dryers in house and new appliances. Tenants are able to sign a 1, 2, or 3 year lease.
